AWESOME night that I will never forget . If anyone is interested in starting stand up comedy then I can recommend the course at : COMEDY TRUST based in Liverpoolor E Mail info@thecomedytrust.com
Tec wise I had to crank the ISO to 6400 as it was pretty dark and no flash can be used in the venue . I put a vintage filter over the originals . Shot with a Canon 50mm , 17:40 and 70:200.

LIVER Birds Liverpool
![]() |
LIVERPOOL CCTV |
I know legend has it that if these birds fly away that the city of Liverpool will fall but I think this is going a bit too far !
( Original images not cropped or edited just shrunk in size for net , perhaps a little out of context )
Due to Merseyrail being useless at dealing with a bit of rain I had an early visit to Liverpool today and made the most of it
Had a visit to Liverpool Museum pictured above ( Really Great ) and Open Eye Gallery on Mann Island Link to website here : OPEN EYE GALLERY
I really liked the way they displayed the voyeuristic work of Kohei Yoshiyuki with the images hung in a darkened room, only seen by torchlight .....
The Hunt for Red October is now over as I found out that one of the 'subs' built by Paramount for the film is now a floating 'Yellow Submarine' in the harbour and inside is a Scooter originally used in the film Quadrophenia !
YELLOW SUBMARINE STORY
There is also the 'Joker' Boat that was apparently used in the Batman film where Jack Nickholson played the Joker but scenes involving the boat were cut from the final edit ( not sure why it would have been amazing watching the joker escape at speeds of up to 5MPH hoping that Batman wouldn't catch up to him on the locks . Better off running away form spiderman over water really ....)
OH and I found this . Looks like Liverpool have banned standing in a Cockney manner , swimming and playing BBC'S Big red Wipeout balls on the Albert Dock

NO SWIMMING , STANDING IN A COCKNEY MANNER OR WIPEOUT BALLS |
THEN I SAW THIS VAN PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK

DUKE of Lancaster GRAFFITI
This is old news now but this ship is a landmark on the North Wales coast and has a very interesting history that can be read here : Duke_of_Lancaster_Wiki page
From what I see on this page it was Latvian graffiti artist "Kiwie" was commissioned to spray paint a design on the ship
( I did wonder how he got a crane down there with the security they have on site )
There is an orange coloured monster on the starboard ( other side ) but I did not have time to get round there . Maybe another visit is in order ...?
Site explaining about the graffiti is here : Duke of Lancaster Kiwi graffiti description
