As close as you can get to fish without getting your eyes wet

These are them crazy feet sucking pedicure fish that seems to be all the rage now . Eating the dead skin on your feet . Not sure if I'd want to do it . Quite hard to get a nice photo of someone with their feet in the tank with these fish without them looking like a Hobbit

HOLGA

Just had a quick play on my Holga Lens on my SLR . You can't get things processed this quick with film . I think I may get the backs up of a few Analogue purists with this one . I need a bit of more experimentation the results I will publish . ( The lens is Plastic and made for film cameras and the price of this nifty lens £12 yes twelve pound from China ) Awesome .

I have only reduced image  size and not altered light or  colour or frame. The shutter speed was set at 8 seconds . The lines on the 2nd pic are there as it is street light coming through the window

Autofocus : NO
Manual focus : Not really
Aperture : Set
Auto WB : No
In focus : sometimes
Price : £12
Fun : Yes  !

Safe job

The freelancer may not have been as qualified as she stated on her CV

Might take a few seconds to notice what's wrong with this picture . When you do You'll see why I took it ..... Epic fail !

( I'm not in the business of trying to embarrass people and have only posted it because most of the ladies face is obscured ....and it's funny as hell .  )

Bottom

Found this great stencil of Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson in their Bottom guise today . Good work and it was discretely placed as well . I can't look at this without getting the sax theme tune in my head

Doctor Livingston I presume ?

Picture shows a Congolese man taking a photo on his blackberry of his friend next to the newly unveiled statue of Stanley with artist and sculptor Nick Elphick to the right of picture

Great to see the unveiling of the statue go well today ( many people were worrying about protests )  . I hope people now respect the artwork and do not deface it even if they do have opposition to the man himself

Artist Nick Elphick has done a great job , lets hope this statue stays in good repair for generations to come

This pic says it all about today really with just as many cameras as there were people , below are a few links if you wish to learn more about the great explorer  :

Bird of prey

Quite happy of this pic I got today . Driving down a lane after my job I saw a couple of birds of prey darting about .

Who's looking at you ?

This bird was making a fair bit of racket today almost as if he wanted me to notice him and take a picture . Nice to actually get that close as well . Usually there is not much detail as you are too far away

RAF Sea King in Bala

This RAF helicopter was part of a multi service exercise that took place in Bala with rumors that Prince William was flying one of these helicopters . ( As far as I'm aware they were only rumors ) .

Classic quote when I told a lady about who was rumored flying the aircraft she said " Why is he training ? He'd be no use , he's off to Australia soon then getting married ."

I got nice and close , the first aircraft was looked to be piloted by an all female crew .
