Managed to get on the Royal Rota for the Prince of Wales and Duchess  of Cornwall visit to North Wales this week

My images featured in 7 editions of 3 papers including 2 front pages...not bad...

RHYL harbour bike bridge a new dawn ?

Got quite emotional taking this pic , probably because I was so tired and had no sleep and still not really had much sleep !!

Sometimes just one thing can trigger huge changes, One bridge cannot and will not solve most of the problems in Rhyl but it is a small step in the right direction and hopefully Rhyl can start getting remembered and referenced for all the good things about it ....... 

Perhaps Prestatyn town FC Fans will then stop chanting the cheeky songs "We've got all your shops" and "where's your Famous Marks and Spencer?"

My image of the football last night made it to the sports page of Kurzemes Vards a Latvian daily newspaper
Image shows newspaper front page my image and image used ( Not sure who Kreigs Kolvils is though ) ... I see a running getting my name wrong theme

 Before that match I was given an e mail address in Latvia to send some football images , I e-mailed off my phone to check the address and it was ok

Post match I sent images via an I pad, it worked !

At one point during the match it did feel like I was photographing rain at a football match rather than photographing the footie in the rain !


I was using Canon 300mm F2.8 on a Canon 7D . At one point the Iso was up to 3200 as them thick rain clouds were stopping the sun getting through at the 'summer' league decider
