Prestatyn 3 - 2 Gap Connah's Quay August 22nd 2014
Freezing cold night for August , I thought it was mid January with the howling wind but at least it wasn't raining !
The Welsh Prem 2014 season kicked off at Bastion Gardens with a visit from the Nomads with Prestatyn going behind twice only to draw back level through a fantastic header from Jack Lewis and then another header from Michael Parker after an exquisite goal outside of the boot from Luke Holden perhaps worthy of Goal of the month ?
Nomads must have felt at home with one of the floodlights going out but sensibly the game was played on despite one part of the pitch being significantly darker than the rest

Ref Mr Parry had a consistent game and got most decisions correct rather than running in flashing cards |
